Unreal Tournament 4 how to play offline?

Does anyone know how to do that? I tried starting the game as usual and it freezes on "Receiving Title Update". That's all I have on the screen.

4 or 2004? server might be offline now: Epic Games Store shuts off online games including Rock Band, Unreal - Polygon

4 I mean I was playing with bots every day. Is there a way to play offline with bots.

Not that I know of. But it's open source so you could build your own version with the network stuff removed if you're desperate. Or maybe somoene has already done that.
