Unreal Engine 4 Open World Cinematic

Water still looks like mercury.

Other wise someone did a good job on 3d modeling. Not seeing too much to get all excited over. Wonder how the developer tools are with this?

I saw the demo running first-hand and it looks amazing, the sheer size of the rendered scene is massive various Epic devs quoting between 5-10 times the size of Skyrim, with thousands of trees and hardware tessellation on the close-up stones. I can't wait to see when the next Elder Scrolls game utilises this sort of power.

Skyrim with every graphical mod in existence still doesn't look this good.

I believe it but at this point nothing short of putting myself IN the scene (vr) or photo-realistic rendering is going to make me go "wow". I realize I may never go wow, but that's what it'll probly take.

they could have had sooo much fun if it had been a typical large breasted women failing into the water and had the tshirt cling to her the whole time... it's amazing how meh the character was compared to the environments...

You would think people would have some perspective.

It is amazing that this can be done in real time now. Just 15 years ago this was the realm of massive prerender farms. Now it can be done in a single box on the fly and be interactive.

Unfortunately there are those who feel entitled, and demand the unrealistic :rolleyes::mad:

Meh. Blowing trees texture / shadow pops. Cartoon galore. Wake me up in a few years.
