Ok, I have a Western Digital 80Gb 7,200 RPM ( IDE ) HDD as my main drive. Everytime I try to boot to windows, I see the XP loading screen for a split second, then i get this error that says "unmountable boot volume". I booted from my XP cd and typed ( in repair ) chkdsk /p, and it keeps scanning, but stops @ around 38% and says there are one or more unrecoverable problems. I tried typing fixboot also, but that didnt work. I also tried fixmbr ( saw it on another forum )....but that didnt work either. Any suggestions?

If you are OC'ing, go back to stock. Clear CMOS and reenter your settings. Run diagnostics on the drive to verify that it is still mechanically and electronically sound, then...
