I plan on making a case mod, but first I need a new case ( my current one is beyond help) but i want it on the cheap. looking for an atx case don't really care about drive bays as long as it has 2 or 3. I would like the side((s)if possible) to be easily opened/accsessed. looking for a price around say $50 at most and probably say $20 at least. most importantly i tcan't have andy distinguishinmg remarks on it( no window no wierd power button no large logos or wierdly designed fronts). I have searched price watch new egg and google so don't tell me something stupid like check the internet okay. Any suggestions ?

amamax.com
colorcases.com
Just a few sites i bookmarked because they have cheap cases

well the thing is i need to moddify the front of the case as well so many cases have a power button and stuff at the bottom(which i hope to replace with a swith i don't like buttons)) but thanks

If your asking for help try not to be obnoxious about it. Just because Im a nice guy im going to tell you to check out newegg.com for your case needs.

sorry if i offended you i was just trying to be specific

case is fine except there is holes for fan on the side where i will put my window and opening handel goes is where i will put window. I plan to leave some of the metal on the case side so i can have a angel looking case that thing is tight

I have developed a real hate for windows after knowing about case modding and stuff for about 3 or 4 years now.

I've noticed that its getting harder and harder to find a nice case that is not premodded. I've been looking for a chieftec dragon for a while and finally found it at directron. Its going to cost me close to 70 bucks to get shipped to me but no one else has anything like it. I'm going to be doing a Tolkien themed mod where I take one side panel and have a Lorien leaf airbrshed onto the side (although I may go with a case wrap that I permanently attatch to the side), on the door I want to get some bluish type glow in the dark paint and paint the back door of Moria on it. On the other side panel I'm going to do a window mod where I will sandwich a transparency between two pecies of plexi and then back light it. The entire outside of the case will be an emerald green, I haven't decided if I'm going to go with a glossy clear coat or a satin one. The inside of the door will be painted black as will the drive faces.

no offence skawttieboy but the there are quiet a few that are too complicated on the front. I liked the powmax but it may require extensive sanding on the front. sorry i'm sounding all analretentive and stuff. thanks for the posts. keep on posting. the reason i want the front simple is because i am going to put a large fan on the bottom and cut an oven style door to swap harddrives in and out. Nice find on the compusa has a basic black ATX case not what i am looking for ie the front but maybe i should just give up on that idea

i think i am going to buy thissweet sob it is cheap effective and a lian li rip off I like it and i am going to get it thank you so much for your help:)
