I currently have a WRT54GL router, which of course only has speeds of up to 100mbps.

I am looking to buy a switch to attain 1000mbps speeds on my network, and be able to use 1000mbps speed when transferring and streaming from my NAS (buying a new router is way to expensive and I don't have any use of it outside my network).

I am looking to buy the Synology DS413J and looking at the following 2 switches:

So, which to buy? which am I in need of?
 
RoHS just means that certain heavy metals (and a few other things) are not used in the manufacture of the product and has no bearing on features or performance.
 
"Unmanaged vs RoHS" confused the hell out of me. That's like "BMW M3 vs. Core i5". I suppose they're both things, but have absolutely nothing to do with each-other.

For anything further than arms length away from where I'm using it, I would never use anything less than a HP ProCurve 1400/1410.
For small throwaway switches I've had decent success with the D-Link DGS-108, but wouldn't count on it for daily use.
 
I have a couple of the Trendnets, they seem to be reliable and push decent speeds.
