Unlocking the 6800GT

all right, pci express x16, 6800Gt is what I need to talk about, 16 pipelines are available, four are locked, how can i unlock them? also any vertex shaders or anything else that can increase the power of it

and how much power does it increase>?
 
Are you sure it's a 6800gt? 6800gt's come with all 16 pipes and 6 vertex units open. If you have a vanilla 6800, then you can use rivatuner to open the 4 pipes and the 1 vertex unit that are locked. There's nothing to unlock in a GT.

nah i wasen't really that interested in unlocking things in my vid card, i was gonna get two 6600GTs but instead got the 6800GT just wanted to know if i can improve it in a def way than oc'ing

There's nothing to unlock in a PCIE 6800NU either- they are 12/5 gpus.
