unlocking a Thorton 2400+

Alright, here's my problem. I have a Thorton 2400+ that's past week 39 (its week 7 of 2004) and is what seems to be one of the superlocked chips. I can't be sure about that last one, becuase all the superlocked chips Ive seen were deep green, but this is more of the brown green color. All the traces are visible however, so it seems a likely candidate for being superlocked. Anyways, I've been reading it is, as far as i can gather, impossible to completely unlock this chip. I also have a NF2 motherboard (A7N8X) so the XP-M workaround won't work :( Has there been anything new in how I can unlock this chip, or that that matter, how to renable the lost 256k of cache? I didn't pay $12 for conductive paint for nothing...
