I totally understand collecting vintage hardware. They got an amd 486dx4-100 es that I would totally rock if I had disposable income for stuff like that. But it's a random ass 18 pin dip IC with no indication of what it could be. I'd be more inclined to pony up for a 555 timer engineering sample than this.I understand the interest in collecting vintage hardware. Some look at it as obsolete so who cares, others feel as though they are preserving a piece of history. Both are correct.
