Unknown DIP18 ENGINEERING SAMPLE

Yeah, without any story at all this thing has no value to me. Especially given how easy it would be to just slap "engineering sample" on anything. They (chinese ebay sellers) already have an infinite supply of knockoff dip-28/32 ISSI SRAM cache chips that aren't ISSI at all.. just plain fakes with the right thing printed on top.... probably just a no name sram chip

I totally understand collecting vintage hardware. They got an amd 486dx4-100 es that I would totally rock if I had disposable income for stuff like that. But it's a random ass 18 pin dip IC with no indication of what it could be. I'd be more inclined to pony up for a 555 timer engineering sample than this.

If the y tho was specifically for this item, I understand. The item doesn't have enough details about it to be worth anything.
