For those of you that read computer shopper (dons flame retardant suit), I pose a question about a case I spotted in an ad.

On page 11 of the May 2008 issue of computer shopper, there is an ad from cyberpowerpc. And in that ad at the bottom left corner is a rather interesting looking case. It reminds me of a Dell XPS case. I am just wondering if this is a photoshop job or is this an actual production case that I cant seem to find.

On the LCD looking front panel, you can make out NZXT. NZXT doesnt make a front panel that even remotely looks like this one. Nor does NZXT make a case that resembles the on in the ad. TIA (removes suit)

I'm guessing people are going to want to see a picture, or a link to one at the very least so they can better assist you.

I wished I could give them a pic. But, I dont have a scanner and cant find a pic otherwise. I have been searching most of the day for it and that is the reason why its kinda directed at people that have Computer Shopping magazine or atleast read it regularly

Im gona take a guess this is the case you are talking about? Its been in most of the recent PCGamer mags also.

I dont know who makes it, but I kinda like it also.

That case is the new NZXT Chaos, it hasn't been officially released yet to my knowledge. Supposed to be excellent quality and have the best air cooling available, but then those are just rumors;)

they also have the nzxt tempest which is supposed to come out sometime soon as well. Looks pretty cool too.

Love the side panel, hate the front. Entirely.

I wonder what the real front panel will be like. Or if they'll leave it bare like that.

That is the case in question. I like the side panel as well. I have been spoiled by my P180, though. I have taken a disliking to the side panels on just about everything, due to the flimsy sheet metal feel

interesting looking case, wonder if its going to come with that tight colored LCD panel.. looks like temp/fanspeed monitor.

there is just something about that case that doesnt appeal to me. Its partly the colors and mostly the lines. Not something I would buy

mmm, necro post but with update!

Case is official now. But with a msrp @ $399. :(
/edit: Nice looking all around though. Layout looks good imo plus its what I've been looking for so I might bite if and when a price drop hits.

Seriously, that is a lot for a case. It doesn't even include fans. I guess if you're going to spend 400 on a case, you'd probably buy scythe etc fans, buy they could include one or two.
the temp controller looks great. too bad I just got a zalman mfc2.

i reckon the NZXT Zero looks pretty cool... =D only that the front USB's are placed on the right side of the case and the door opens to the right... makes no sense... lol

I really like it the more I think about it. Digging the flip out mb tray also. But I just cant get over the price.

@ deft touch: It does come with fans, just not the middle inside 3.
FRONT, 2 X 120 mm Blue LED (included)
REAR, 1 X 120 mm (included)
MID, 3 X 120mm
TOP, 1 X 140mm Fan (included)

It's here!

I honestly would consider that case. It looks sharp, has a good cooling solution, and holds tons of drives. Sadly it costs TOO much.

That is just freaking crazy.....the looks, the build quality, the room....THE PRICE!!! GTFO of here with a $399 case

I really like that look of that case. I wonder if it will fit the PCP&C 1KW PSU. If so, I'm sold on it and I'll buy one. I could go crazy and mount both of my PCP&C 1KW PSU's in it.
