Hi lads/ lasses,

I am about to go venture out to get my first WC build done. I already have a storm block (second hand, thanks to a [H] member) and am not sure what else I want. I am considering to get a video block, but would prefer one that will work with my 6800GT and possibly the x1900, since I may be upgrading to that. Is there such a beast, or should I just stick with my nvSilencer and get something similar for my next VC?
 
Your best options are pretty much any GPU only block.

I am assuming you have 1/2" barbs on the Storm, in which case the AC blocks suggested by BioPort wouldn't be the best choice as they only support up to 3/8"
 
this guys rippin high flow. those AC blocks wont be good for him.

i vote for low profile Acetel, just incase you SLI or X-fire, and because the price difference is negligable. that aquaextreme looks good though, its innards look promising.

storm = high flow, and if hes not using it as high flow, id say get a new block . and i didnt say you were rippin on high flow, i guess i phrased it wrong, i meant to say, hes rippin (aka using) high flow.
 
Since others have used Storm blocks in lower flowing systems why don't we give the OP the chance to clarify? From what I read he ONLY has a Storm block and is asking what other solutions he might add to that. :)

good call...i assumed he was going for high flow as well...the storm does poorly in low flow, for the most part that is.

The AquaXtreme MP-1 is a high restriction block compared to the very low restriction of the others. If you are going to use it in conjunction with a very restrictive cpu block you better have a very strong pump.

dead on. I only own a storm at the moment and am considering what else I need/ want to get. I appreciate the good input by all.
