Any suggestions on what to put on a sort of universal Fix It CD?
Something that I can have a vast majority of the apps that people need to have on 1 CD.

So far I have:

Adware
AntiVirus software
Ghost
XP SP1
WMPlayer 9
DX 9.0b

other suggestions?

NTFS DOS
can't boot 2k/XP but NEED the files off a HDD? that'll do it
Partition Magic is also good to have
what about soe of those worm fixes they have posted on Symantec's site?

actualy i would recomed a version of stinger from mcafee for virus killing.

I just downloaded this and added to it for my particular needs, all I made a DVD version to add some other stuff that I personally needed.

Spybot and Hijackthis. Contrary to popular belief, none of the anti-spyware programs seem to get everything. Some may very well be 'better' than others, but the three between them tend to fix nearly everything.

I'd suggest a firewall too, not much point trying to clean stuff off someones computer it's it's being put back as fast as you can get rid of it :)

I just have three CDs
The Ultimate Boot CD (as linked by Tiny)
My Security CD with These aps
and my Data Recovery CD with File Scavenger, Reproman (Disk Patch) Restorer 2000, all sorts of freeware HDD aps

but I can never keep them updated, for the most part I just run parallel installs, and keep all the aps zipped on the RAID
thye first program I ever bought (Ontrack ZipMagic) allows me to run most of them from the zip files like "normal" folders (those that arent registry dependent)
