Can someone answer some questions for me???

It looks to me as if United Devices is a company that is selling the processing power that you are providing. Is that the case? That's what I am getting from their website. I am not giving my cycles to someone else so they can profit from them

Also what happened to the hardfolding website? I could go and look up my stats before and everything was grand. :)

Now I can't see any stats. :( Itried to sign up, but I can't log in after I went through the process (yesterday). I am very  .

If you were linking directly to the stats page you will have to go back and reset your link. The stats have been redone from scratch and work great.

As for UD folding for profit, well that argument was debunked quite a while ago. UD is paid to run the stats site and provide the info to Oxford I believe it is.

To the best of my understanding your work is not being sold at a profit.

Fold or UD on.......let's cure something ;)

That's why they have changed the volunteer side to grid.org. They share the same technology, but the stuff you run for Cancer or Rosetta they are for medical research, no hidden agenda there.

They have been having trouble with team stats ever since The Big Crash (TM) last month. It's still not up yet last time I check. Individual stats are fine. Also, only Rosetta data are meaningful at this stage, Cancer projects are just re-runs of previous data. The official word is that they are waiting for new data from Oxford, but who knows, there has been quite a bit of turmoil in the forums.

http://www.ud.com is the commercial side, United Devices is a company that created the grid client docking software solution for business, they sell this grid solution software to companies doing medical research to run on their *own* corperate machines, our cycles play no role *whatsoever* in that, this is just a shell that connects all the research machines together into 1 database so that it processes the data using whatever research software the company chooses to run(not included) like a supercomputer.

http://www.grid.org is the non-profit side, the UD grid software is used to run the distributed computing volunteer projects, UD manages the software, the database..etc

The result property rights belong to Oxford University and The Nationial Foundation for Cancer Research, UD has absolutely *no* rights to the processed data.

In fact the 2 projects that have already been completed (Anthrax and Smallpox) the results were turned into Oxford University, Oxford Prof. Graham Richards presented the results to U.S.A.M.R.I.D. and the C.D.C. shortly after.

As for the [H]ard|Folding F@H stats they are working perfectly.

I must be a complete retard then. I can't for the life of me figure out how to reach a page where I see individual stats and/or my personal stats.

I can log in. I don't see anything different when I do. :(

How long ago did you start with UD, and what is your UD name? If you only started UD in the last few weeks, odds are that you won't show up on that set of stats as Grid.org has been struggling to get their team stats produced.

Also, there were updates to the individual user stats, in your case, the F@H stats can be found here:
