Finally, after five years of waiting, and due to some GREAT deals and discounts through working at Micro Center, my new gaming rig is up and running. It's been a long road, and there were times that I wasn't sure that it was going to happen. But here we are!

Corsair 800D chassis
Asus P6T motherboard
Intel Core i7-920
ThermalRight Ultra 120 eXtreme
Antec TruePower Quattro 850W
Western Digital Black 1TB drive
XFX ATI Radeon 5850

Got the CPU at a stable 4.0GHz, and the clocks on the 5850 at 5870 levels. I'm running some stress tests and benches, and I'm clearing 25,000 3DMarks on 06 with ease.

Feels so good to have this thing up and running!

You invest $800-$1200 into a box of electronics and the best you can come up with is UNIT-04?

I have a unit. Right in my pants.

What about Norse halls/realms, famous cities, planets from Star Wars, levels of Hell from Dante's Inferno, Greek letters, philosophers, famous scientists, Jesus God man, ANYTHING!

In any case, cool.

oh, the nerdiness. :)

congrats on the new system!

named my recent new build bukowski. (it's the one in my sig.) i always go for authors/poets. last box was kesey and the one before that was sylvia (as in plath).

Current System: Wunderbawx
Rig in Progress: Teh Chaos Engine
