Hi all,
My setup's a klipsch promedia gmx 2.1 with an audigy2zs.
Ok here's some background info before i start with the problem.
There was no crackling when i first bought it, nor any hardware/software changes during the period of time when the crackling developed.
Drivers are all updated and line-in is disabled. The window volume control has all the sliders NOT set to max.
So when i raise my volume using the control pod from zero to about 1/10 of the max vol, there's crackling, but ONLY on the right sat. After the 1/10th mark, raising the vol higher doesn't produce any crackling from the right sat. All cables are securely plugged into the subwoofer, and i have replugged them 3-4 times to be sure, but it didnt help.
