I wasnt sure where to post this thread so i just posted in general hardware since processor is hardware.

Under device manager it says I have an ACPI uniprocessor

what is this? just wondering
 
acpi is the more modern way to interface to the cpu/motherboard.
uni = one.
uniprocessor = one processor.
as opposed to the multiprocessor version.
