I have a celeron D 2.4ghz, just wondering if undervolting it would lower temps/fan rpm at all, thanks.

Yes it will lower the temps. But you'll have to slow down the fan(s) yourself if you want to make it a lot quieter, even the variable fan on the stock HSF. Connect the fan(s) ground pin(s) to 5v to do a 7v mod.

I ran one of the Celeron 320 Ds I had at 0.95v and it was 100% stable at 2.4GHz.

Sweet, I'm actually wondering about the stock intel fan RPM's. Like the lowest i've seen it go is 2600rpm, but it's usually higher than that, is that it's minimum RPM or what? How does it work?
 
I think the stock Intel fan is temperature controlled. That's why I recommended that you just do a 7v mod.
