guys,
i just downloaded and installed a couple of sensor programs and i got a qestion.
both sisoft sandra and speedfan reported my rails as follow

3.3v = 3.31
5v = 4.27
12v = 12.29v / 11.79v

the first 2 are consistent with what speedfan and sisoft is reporting only the 12v rail is different. my worry is on the 5v.
with both programs reporting a 15% undervolt, can someone tell me whats the downside of undervolting on the 5v rails, and what items draw power from the rail

thanks

That's because both programs get the information from the same chip on your motherboard.

I'd say whip out a DMM because anyone is going to tell you that health-mon chips are inaccurate and that it's getting it's readings via a single trace from a single wire off the PSU.

If you should be concerned with anything it's that your software is telling you that you have a half a volt fluctuation on your 12V rail.
