I recently download a program to write the autoclave image called rawrite2 which is a dos program. It worked great, but now I can't delete it. Anyone know why?

do you get an error, like file in use, permissions, anything like that? maybe try killing it in the task manager if it's in there and then deleting it

it just says "Cannot delete rawrite2: It is being used by another person or program." and i don't see it in the task manager.

None of those worked, i think i may try to run anti virus software.

Edit: Avg did not detect any thing, anyone got any more ideas, or more information i can post?

You did all those things and none of them worked? Is the file magical or something? I find myself... strangely unconvinced.

Anyhow, that doesn't get the file deleted.

Try this:
http://www.handybits.com/shredder.htm

Failing that, add to your autoexec.bat file the following:
del c:\<fullpath>\file name

Failing that, go here: http://www.bootdisk.com/bootdisk.htm , make a boot disk that'll let you access NTFS drives, use it to boot to a command prompt, navigate to the directory and delete it.

Failing that, take a hammer to your hard disk.

Thread. Read it please. Reading is good :)

It's been suggested, tried and failed. Go and tell us more about your piracy, it seemed to keep you entertained in the other thread.

I ran into the same thing while back and for the life of me I cant remember how I finally got rid of it... but it was a pita.
