[unconfirmed] all aFX systems @ BB to be watercooled

i was talking to my friend who works at BB in the computer department, and he said that when the AMD rep came by to tell them about the new 939 (i assume) FX chips, the rep said that all the aFX systems would need watercooling, as on air they reached 65C. or something like that. so apparently, all computers at BB (and probably other B&M stores) will be watercooled. this could be cool

unless it is just 'liquid cooling' like that sony computer with heatpipes

I'm willing to bet its liquid cooling that Sony and Apple G5's use. The average Joe will in no way be able to handle the maintanence of water cooling.

And 939 FX chips don't run hot....I'm guessing this is more for aesthetics, and yeah we can do it type thing?

i thought the g5 used some other kind of liquid, not water.

how would the average user fix a leak? maybe it's like welded copper tubbing.
