Unable to 'manage tasks' in Task Manager.

My task manager looks like:

instead of its default appearance and functions.

Somehow they disappeared and I have no idea how to return it to normal. Help, please :\
 
My (most likely accurate) guess is you have some extremely ugly spy/adware/virii, the only solution being a complete restore. Don't take this as the "word of god" or something, but in my experience, you sir are fucked :(

Yep. There was another thread like that before that took forever for a solution, but that was it.
 
I solved the problem by button mashing... but I'll remember your solution in the future. :p
