Unable to boot new system

I just built a new system Q6600, 8800GTX, Asus PSK-4

When I power on the system it goes through P.O.S.T but it never lets me get in the bios even though the keyboard and mouse are found. I know it detects the keyboard because when I hit [tab] the splash screen goes away but i cant seem to get into the bios and after about a minute the system chimes once then shuts off.

Somtimes as soon as I boot the system it chimes and shuts off I yanked out most of the memory and not sure what to do at this point please help.
