i just got my thread locked in the for sale and trade forum for "not posting a non free email addy." i checked and double checked my profile options and email addy- it's all enabled. yet when you click on my name and try to send an email- it says "this user has specified that their email address be kept private" or whatever....
 
I'm not a FS/FT mod but I believe you are supposed to include it in your actual post (or in your signature)

ok, point taken. but...

in my profile, it has the option checked- "allow other members to send you email" and also "allow mods to send you emails".

so click on my name, then try to send me an email.

NO GO

Just to let you know, the reason you cant send emails via profile is because its disabled, thus, emails must be included in your post.
