Umm, ...!

There actually was a guy who posted some time ago. He was in the military stationed in the Philippines or somewhere really humid like that and wanted something to control moisture in his case. This would have been a good solution for him.

but looking at the description, it puts humidity into the air.
 
Wierd.

Title and box says it dehumidifies, description says it humidifies.

It couldn't be a humidifier (you would have to add water), and I can't imagine it being an effective dehumidifier, because it is so small.

There is a reason for it being only $5, it is probably worthless.
 
Yeah, I had to reread it a couple times to make sure it was right. It's called a DeHumidifier on the box, but's actually a regular humdifier. That is insane. Why would you want hot, damp air running through your case?

I suppose that if you live in a desert area with extremely low humidity it would help reduce static problems.

Can you clarify that you are joking so that I don't have to go read thru all of your old posts to verify that you shouldn't be allowed to touch anything that contains electricity.
