This if my first post on the [H] forums after many years of lurking for info. thanks btw
Anyway, I just bought the X-Connect 500 which was an upgrade from a Antec 450w smartpower due to artifacting with my 6800GT. So far the artifacting seems to be taken care of but I notice a squealing noise from the back of the X-Connect everytime I scroll my mouse (only in apps). It has the same sound a CD/DVD rom makes when data is being transferred to HDD. I know that isnt the best discription but its the only one i can think of. I guess my questions are... Is this normal? If not, can I fix it?

P-IV 3.2ghz (prescott) @ 3.71
ASUS P4C800E Mobo
1GB Kingston HyperX PC4000
PNY GF 6800GT
Ultra X-Connect PSU
CoolerMaster Wave Master
Logitech MX510
