Ultra Wide Screen Need Help

I need a nice ultra wide screen monitor. Looking for one that is 29" or bigger, and have to have a display port. I also need it to be under $500. I'm just using it for gaming not using it for Photoshop or anything like that. just gaming. Also it will be hooked up to my laptop with 2 Radeon HD 8970m.
Here are the few i been eyeing. But i hope i could get some info from people who had experience with some hand on time with some Ultra wide monitor

That HP isn't ultra-wide, it's just a high res 16:9

I've gamed on my 25"and 34" LG monitors.
I've played BF4, Diablo 3, Rise of Nations, Age of Mythology, Far Cry 4, Counter Strike Source, and Dying Light on the 25". I've only played Dying Light on the 34" as I only got it a few days ago.
All of these games worked fine with the 21:9 resolution. Diablo 3 needs to be played in Windowed Full Screen mode as the 21:9 resolutions are not in the menus.
 
I play everything. I really like anything. but I would like some suggestion. Getting it soon like in a week or 2. More close to a week then the 2
