Not sure where to put this so I'll put it here.

I bought an Ultra Aluminus case direct from Ultra. Shipping was pretty good and I love the case. Only problem was the side door had a chip in the paint the size of a dime and the window was missing a screw.

So I called Ultra they were very nice, offered to send me one for free without returning the damaged one, and throw in a bag of thumbscrews becuase I mentioned I lost one. I was pretty satisfied. Well that was monday, and today it is already. I was extermely happy.

This is where the good ends.... To start off, the door was shipped in an old monitor box that it barely fit in with NO, yes NO PACKING and of course was bent from this poor packaging. They might have sent me thumb screws, but I wouldnt know because they taped it so poor that the box came wide open so anything that was in there definately wasn't anymore.

Sounds like this is about as bad is it gets right? Wrong...after looking to see if they remembered the thumbscrews I check out my new door. Ultra out does themselves!! Not only is the door beat to hell, its for a completely different case. The door for a small STEEL case. Since the case I have is named the aluminus, I would think that might be a hint that the door might be made of hmmmm....aluminum?

I'll update later to tell if they make it up to me.

I will be watching this thread. I heard that Ultra products was pulling themselves out of the "crap" category as of recently, but your experience as far doesn't seem to jive with that... I hope this turns out well for you.

Dont get me wrong, their products are amazing for the price. I wouldn't trade my Aluminus for anything.
 
That's really terrible... I hope you get it all sorted out.

And I agree, Ultra products are pretty nice on average (for their price range).

This was also the correct forum to put this in too ;)
 
So, did you finally get things sorted out?

The Aluminus is a great case.
 
You left the door on yours? The thing just annoys the hell out of me so it's gone.
