Finshed my build-up last night. Overall I am very impressed with the result. The extra inch of depth makes things so much easier than a QPack. And the overall quality of the material of construction is better than the QPack also. Now if evga gets on the ball and gets a bios fix that allows some overclocking I am set:

My specs:
evga NF-44
FX-57 retail
4-pipe AMD Cooler
2 x evga 7900GT CO
2 x 1GB OCZ PC4000 Gold
Maxtor 300GB DM+10 16MB cache
Plextor 716-SA
Silverstone ST-52F

Is that the short-cabled SS PSU? I just got mine yesterday and love it.
 
yes, that is the Falcon NW PSU.

It works perfectly with this setup.

All the connectors are taken up and there is not alot of slop.
 
How loud are those stock ultra fans? and what drive is that, an SATA dvd burner?

The stock fans are not very loud, at least I cannot hear them over the PSU fans and the 7900GT fans.

The HD is a Maxtor DM+10 300GB 16MB 7200 RPM SATA.

The optical drive is SATA. It is a Plextor 716SA.
 
I finished my Micro Fly rig not too long ago. I should do the same and put up pics and a review of it. The fans are great; I connected them to a fan crontroller that came with my Xclio 450BL PSU and just turn em off when I don't need it. Pair that with a Zalman cooler and an Arctic Silencer and I got myself a pretty quiet rig.
 
One or two 80mm fans?

Takes some pics from the front and and comparative shots, please. :) I want to see how big that case is in relation to something...

It has an 80 mm intake and a 120 mm exhaust. It is one inch deeper than the QPack.

I still have a Qpack if I get a chance I will throw up a pic of them side by side.

How does it compare size wise to the X-Qpack?

Microfly Dimensions:
Depth: 15"
Width: 11.25"
Height: 9"

QPack Dimensions:
Depth: 14"
Width: 11.25"
Height: 9"

They are exactly the same height and width. Just an inch deeper. That inch allows makes all the difference.
 
yea, i'm considering getting a microfly JUST for the 80mm intake and extra space. I either need to drill holes in the front of my qpack or get a microfly for an 80mm radiator :-/
 
I just finished modding my Micro Fly - removed the right side support frame to fit my Silverstone NT06 CPU cooler or Zalman CNPS 9500. I also am using two Coolermaster silent LED fans, 80mm and 120mm at 7v.

My testing results favored the NT06 with a silent 120mm fan that runs my FX-55 about 4C-5C cooler under load than the Zalman 9500! :cool:
(Idle 34C / Load 51C)

I'm currently working on a mod to fit a ATX in a Qpack but I'm thinking on this Ultra case... really nice... It really does look very nice.... I'm sooo tempted.... I just don't like the PSU but at least I have the option of not buying it with the psu.
 
The Micro Fly is nice. Probably one of the better budget cases (if not the best). A little birdy tells me a new front is coming in the future.
 
Does it run hot being that enclosed like that? What kind of temps do you get, safe for overclocking at all?
