I am upgrading my computer but I think I should keep my 2 160gb Ultra ATA HDD, or is there some great advantage to getting SATA???

Right now, you probably won't notice a difference. However, if you are upgrading your motherboard, I HIGHLY recommend getting one with SATA ports on it... (I don't think it's possible to get one WITHOUT them these days, so it shouldn't be too big of an issue.)

If your primary HD is an SATA is there any problem if you add ATA HD's for storage?

Nope, I run raid 0 raptors and two ata drivers 40/120 for storage, works like a charm.

Eh, the cabling is a bit more managable, but other than that, nothing significant. Keep your 160's. I have 4 120GB drives that I still hold on to (besides, my Adaptec 2400A is PATA and not SATA) :)
