Ubuntu server in Apple OpenDirectory

Hi

Does anyone know any guides how to connect an Ubuntu server to Open Directory?
I like the Ubuntu server to be able to use the OD users for services, like file-sharing.

I find a lot on Ubutnu to AD connection, but so far nothing good on Ubuntu to OD.

Not sure, but i have joined Ubuntu to a Windows domain before.

Pissed my Linux teacher off in college. It was great.

Seems like an added annoyance to the administrators to support Windows and Linux distros, but still cool to know that it can work

Yes it had something to do with likewise. It was a long time ago. I believe I did it on Ubuntu 7. I dont remember the specifics anymore sorry. Only did it to piss off my jerkoff Linux professor.

There maybe other, better ways to do it now.

You can e.g. use http://www.beyondtrust.com/Products/PowerBroker-Identity-Services-Open-Edition/ to connect to an AD domain, but it don't help me much.
