Hey guys, I've been playing around with Ubuntu Live, but being a Linux newb I don't rweally know what to do with the thing. Was hoping to get online but all I have is 56k. I found my modem in the network settings, activated and setup the modem and all. But where do I tell it to dial up and connect to my ISP?
Almost forgot, it's a Lucent Win Modem.
Also can someone point me to a Linux for Noobs guide perhaps? Something I can play around with to learn Linux a bit before a install it on a machine and confuse the hell out of thw wife (and myself)? Thanks guys!
