I've recently acquired a core 2 duo dell optiplex for the purpose of acting as a general purpose linux server and as a router. I've set up pretty much everything I want so far except something to manage routing, preferably with web based management. Currently, I'm eying the eBox/Zentyal platform/packages, but I installed 10.10 on the machine so there isn't a current build available to me (eBox 1.5 instead of 1.5.14?).
So my question is as follows: should I reinstall to 10.04 for the more recent versions of ebox via the zentyal repository or should I consider a completely different product? I would prefer to keep the base installed OS as ubuntu desktop if possible, since I'm familiar with working with it.

How do webmin and ebox compare in terms of ease of use for routing applications? The last time I used webmin to set up SAMBA on a now dead computer it felt only marginally easier than just using a terminal, and I felt the layering of the samba module to be somewhat unintuitive.
