Ubiquity Cloud Controller

My controller is running in a virtual machine. I know I've seen people on the ubnt.com forums running it on Amazon.....

As far as performance, I can't see how it would affect anything. The AP's will run without the controllers, it just basically is used for configuration (which is then stored on the AP's themselves) and logging/information.

i got one running in amazon to mess with

not using it for production though... kind of waiting for unifi 3, then i will probably just host something myself...

if i do cloud unifi, it's GOTTA be able to do multiple sites EASILY...

I want to use the hotspot functionality, so I need kind of a dedicated or always running vm I think.

I'm using a free trial instance of AWS hosting my controller for a couple of clients (using the 3.1 beta version that allows multi-site configs).

Works pretty well.
