just got a typhoon single floppy bay res (for my shuttle) and it came with 2 plugs and 3 barbs

im using 2 barbs and one plug for the fill port, but the third hole is open. neither plug's threads are big enough by far to fit the hole (believe me i used half a yard of teflon tape on the plug and still no dice)

any ideas?

Go to your nearest hardware store and see if they have a 1/4" NPT plastic pipe plug.

it does, but they gave me one plastic and one metal plug, neither of which are wide enough to seal the threads...bollocks...
im considering just putting in the 3rd barb and splitting the loop, rather than waiting for them to send me a working plug, unless my harware store carries what i need...any suggestions?

shove your thumb in the hole and hold it there until they send you the plug :p

I mean seriously, what else do you want us to suggest? You have already told them the plugs dont fit and they are sending you the right sized plugs right? Someone else suggesting going to the hardware store and seeing if you could find something the right size to plug the hole. there isn't much else for us to suggest to you.

ok, first, they arent sending correct plugs...
i was asking, in so amny worsd i guess, what i should be buying at the hardware store, as there was a prior disagreement as to the nature of the threads...calm down

Just take the res to the hardware store, toss it on the counter and say "hey, i need a plastic plug for this but if you haven't got plastic brass will work." and have at it. Simplest answer I can give you.
