I have a Geforce GTX 660Ti and a cheap Quadro 600. From my understanding Nvidia drivers are the same for everything, if that is the case why can't I use the two together? I have an H77 chipset motherboard, but it is unusual in that the second PCI-E slot runs at X8 but is a full length X16, not sure if that is preventing the Quadro from running.

I don't think they are compatible. Even though nvidia allows you to sli different cards, I don't think you are able to sli "consumer" and "work" chips together.

I just looked at the pictures of the quadro 600. It doesnt even have an sli bridge connector. The quadro 600 is not sli capable.

I'm also willing to bet that a GTX 660Ti can't saturate a PCI-E 3.0 x8 slot's bandwidth. A second slot running at x8 is far from "unusual" in the motherboard world.

Nvidia is super stingy when it comes to SLI. You can't even SLI a GTX690 and a GTX680 even though you are talking about 3 of the same GPUs in that case and they are both consumer cards.

Guys I don't think he's trying to SLI, I think he's just trying to run 2 cards to drive a few monitors.

In my experience, it should work just fine.

Well it didn't start off well, as soon as I dropped my 660 in my boot time went from ~1min to about ~5mins. Just driving a few monitors is correct though, just was double checking that what I am doing is able to be done.

Not sure why it isn't detecting though.
