Two questions (LCD and Router)

Question 1:
My girl friend has a 17" LCD. It's getting near the end of the seimster and we were wondering the best way to transport it? We were considering just putting a blanket over it and calling it a day. The box is who know's where. Is that a ok way to transport it, or what do all of you suggest?

Question 2:

I also found this one. Linksys EtherFast Wireless AP + Cable/DSL Router w/ 4-Port $62.76. Are either of these good deals or should I keep looking? I am looking to connect a Win 98 box and 2-3 XP laptops and eventully a XP Box.

I tape bubblewrap around my LCDs whenever I have to move them. I tape it tight around the frame, so nothing touches the LCD surface, and then another layer or two around it.

I'm not a big fan of Netgear stuff. Check the prices at your local store for Linksys stuff. The price isn't bad though.

I kept the boxes for my two 1800 fp's. I wanted to be 100% sure they'd make it ok. You are looking for a way of transporting them without having anything touching the screen obviously and the way they came is with styrofoam around the whole thing but raised away from the screen area....

if you put a blanket over it and call it a day just make sure it lays face up and that nothing touches the screen. You should be ok as long as you are careful...

that linksys will serve you well. Is that the version with built-in firewall?
