Two PCs: One Photo Collection

Simply: How do you manage your single photo collection across your home PCs?

My preferred application for management has been Picasa, but this does not seem to work well in a multi-PC environment. Do you use a home server, synchronization between PCs, NAS, or other?

How do you do it?
 
Dropbox might be what you want.. Just put your pictures in the respective folder, and it will sync them online and between multiple computers.
 
I have a central server so all pictures go onto that (mirrored onto main desktop as well) and all computers mount the picture folder as a share
