would you go with two 22 inch crt moniters (20 inch viewable) or one fw900 24 inch moniter(22.5 inch widescreen viewable)?

I have only used two 17" CRTs in tandem, and I don't like dual screen. I much prefer the one screen.

I'd go with one screen as well. Just gives me a headache switching back and forth.

For heavy gaming, definitely one. Otherwise I'd go with a dual display.

also depends on cost. I picked the dual side of it, I prefer that. I don't do a lot of gaming, so Most of my usage is through the usual windows apps. Dual screen really helps when you need extra room.

i never understood why someone would need two monitors. ONE is my vote.

Personally I would get a monitor instead of this moniter thing you talk about.

Definately one FW900 if you like to game. It will still be quite sufficient for apps, and widescreen kicks ass for gaming. If you tried to game on 2 monitors you'd have the nasty break right at the crosshair, I don't know how anyone could tolerate that. I have a FW900 24" and a really old 15". I only use the 15" for one place to constantly have winamp/buddy list/irc chat. If i'm working with apps and stuff where i need lots of real estate, I still keep it all on the FW900. The only reason to go for the two 22" is if you do tons of apps all the time and practically never game.

I was about to say something smart, but Indolentron said it all. One > two, atleast in this case ^^

Gonna have to at least partly agree. A 24" FW900 is almost like two monitors anyway, go for the FW900 i say ;)
