hi guys new to the [H] (sorta), but two questions. one: what does bump mean

two: on the legend at the bottom of the page, it says what each icon means next to your post...but mine is a yellow envelope with a hole in it, what does that denote?

one: bump means that you are 'bumping' your thread up to the top of the list of threads

two: don't know, I've wondered that myself

three: off topic posts are frowned on here, next time you should probably PM one of the Admins/Mods

when a post is replied to, it moves it to the top. If you reply to your own post, 'cause you want more people to see it, you've bumped it to the top of the pile. hence 'bump'

the envelope means you've posted in that message thread.

next time, these questions should be addressed to a moderator, PM (Private Message) them, since this isn't general hardware. ;)
