If I were to "hack" the Nvidia 260.99 drivers and insert EDID for a monitor, would that info negatively effect a second monitor attached to the same card that doesn't share the same EDID?

More importantly, can I add a second EDID to the driver install in order to accommodate both monitors, or would that cause problems?

I have a laptop, whilst using my modified EDID for an external monitor, my laptop screen works fine at the same time.
So I think yes...
