Okay this question is going here becuase of two questions I have related to the rig I am building.

Now first off what I have is a 915 based Intel board, all I need is the RAM. However I have a choice 2 lots of DDR1 and 2 slots for DDR2. I know DDR2 is great but since I have the choice my question is. Would I really see a difference between DDR1 and DDR2? Note: I am already seriously considering going DDR2.

This is a step up to be my gaming rig, and I am borrowing a friends 5200FX AGP card until I can afford a 6800GT PCI-e card.

Now for Question 2.
Since I will be dual boxking I don't have room for two keyboards, mice, and monitors. What would be a good KVM switch that would allow my MX1000 to work properly? I have heard af issues with soime KVM's and wireless mice.

ddr2 isnt great. at all. it has high latencies and needs much higher clockspeeds to get the same bandwidth that ddr gets a lower clock speeds.

get ddr. its cheaper, lower latency, and performs better.
