ok so I am doing some IT support for a friend at her office... so here is the issue (other than the place is a complete cluster).....(not this is on an XP Pro system running SP2)
1.) "Office" is the receptionist User Account for the office, however somehow over the weekend it was locked out/deleted. I am not sure which as the account name shows up under "Users" in the management window and tells me to go "User Accounts". However, when I go to User Accounts Management the User does not show up.. WTF?
2.) The system uses an Intel 82566DC board with integrated NIC. However, they want to install a PAYCHEX time card system that will use RJ45 to connect to the computer which will record the timecards for the office and then connect via the internet to record the times. Anyways, they purchased a second NIC card (PCI-X) Intel CT Network card to be used to connect the timecard clock to the computer. The system will not recognize the new NIC, what am I forgetting here? I did go download the driver for it but since it is an Intel based system I cannot install it as it is seeing the other NICs drivers. What am I forgetting here or do we have a problem?
