I have 2 monitors (LG W2253V) on my computer right now. The other day, I saw that the colors were different between the screens. I checked the OSD and set the settings of the two screens to the same thing. I also checked the color correction in CCC and it was disabled.
One screen was connected by a DVI cable, the other with a DVI to HDMI cable. I tried 2 DVI cables, but with no effect. I also tried to switch where the cables connect on the video card, and it had the same different tint on the displays.
So my question is, is this normal? I received those displays as a warranty return for 2 others LG screens, and I did not have that problem with the old ones. The displays I have now are brand new too (3 weeks old).
Speaking of warranty, can that kind of problem pass on it? I'll check with my retailer tomorrow.
Worst case, I'll have to calibrate them with a special tool. I tried by hand and could not get it right.
thanks
