Two 4 Pin connector confusion

I've had much luck with questions here, so I thought I'd give it another shot:

I recently bought the MSI K8D-Master2-FAR mobo (dual Opteron procs). The connectors are: 20/24pin (accepts either to accomodate ATX & SSI, I presume), 4pin, 4/8pin (same story as the 20/24connector).

I've seen PSUs with 20-pin & 4 pin, but never 20-pin & TWO 4pins.. is it safe to split the 4 pin. Does such a splitter exist?

My current PSU actually doesn't even have a 4pin, but was reading around and found this in another thread.

Is all this safe to use? I'd hate to blow up this rig. What PSUs would work out of the box?

Thanks all,
KMrd
