And don't forget that AMD gets those numbers by brute force, not elegant engineering. That puppy has a very high TDP and uses twice as much power as an Intel offering at 100% load.
Seeing how you have to use the AMD chipset over an Intel chipset to boot, I can't see a compelling reason to go AMD.

False on the TDP. Now as far as chipsets go, as you see in the review the FX-8350 AMD system had enough bandwidth to handle 4K.
