Tweaking RAM

Ok I have G Skill Ripjaws 2x2GB, PC1600 running as follows:

and am wondering if it could be tweaking for better timings.
Motherboard I am using is below in my sig. Thanks for the help.

Also, is there any advantage to having the RAM closer to the CPU? Because due to the heatsinks on the G Skill RAM I put it in RAM slots 3 and 4. Just wondering.

you may need to place the ram dims in slots 2 and 4 to get dual channel, check with your motherboard manual.

No I doubt that. They are color coded
