On a clean boot, how much ram does your system take up? List your OS, total amount of ram, and the amount used on a fresh bootup/login to the OS.

Me:
WindowsXP SP1
512mb total
~150mb used on a fresh boot

I'm thinking that's a lot, and I need to try to optimize things. I plan on sitting down tomorrow and reading through everything in the official unofficial tweak thread :p

I use WinXP and after loading my start up programs, I have around 740 megs left from 1024.

Windows XP Pro
System Memory: 512 MB
Memory Free after booting and all startup programs loaded: 414 MB

1gig of ram
win2k

at startup i use 80 megs of ram.

depending on F@H and whatelse I have running I usually hit 150-200 mb usage for normal activity.

WinXP Pro
total: 1048048k
available: 842908k

So about 200mb is taken up.

WIN 98[FE]
Physical RAM: 320.00MB PC100SDRAM biatch!
Virtual RAM: Min=200 // Max=200
I never run out.

Common Simultaneous Tasks: Music (QCD Player) + WebBrowsign (Firebird0.7 usually 2-3 tabs open at once) + AIM + Outpost Firewall + AVGFreeEdition + FAH3.
