tv tuner trouble

i just finished building my new comp ( specs in my sig under new comp) and i installed my old kworld tv tuner from my old comp, now every time i watch tv i dont have any sound....i have tried everything, reconnecting audio out/in cables and trying different speaker jacks on the sound card but still nothing....now now i just hooked up a set of speakers onto the aud out jack on the tv tuner and theres sound....but the sound goes off after 3 minutes of watching tv...how can i fix this?
 
I would reinstall drivers for your sound card or onboard (whichever you have)... Either that or make sure that you are out of 5.1 sound have line in enabled on the control panel for your sound options... :)
