i have an ati tv wonder ve tuner. i bought it about a month ago and its always worked fine. but last week it suddenly stopped working. there is still audio, but i cant get to video.
i cant think of anything significant that i did to the computer which would cause it to stop working. i think i uninstalled some drivers from my old nforce2 board which i accidently left on the computer, but the tv tuner was installed well after i changed motherboards so the nforce2 drivers shouldnt be an issue in any way.
i get a message when i try to open the tv tuner saying this:
Unable to start TV
The TV player failed to initialize the video.
Check the Windows Device Manager to ensure that the correct video driver has been installed and is working properly before attempting to restart TV.

everything in device manager seems to be working normal. it says the device is functioning properly and its enabled. theres no driver conflicts visible through device manager.
