i was looking at tv tuners to use for a console plug in, and the console has 3 outputs, red white and yellow like most things, but the tvtuners usually only have cable inputs or only a yellow one. Can i just plug in the yellow one and it will work? I did it with an xbox on a tvtunr i used to have, but i forgot how. Do i just need to get a new console cord?

RCA
yellow=video
red= right audio
white= left audio

if you are trying to send the video out of the console into the tuner you need to make sure the tuner supports video in.

you can use any color cable as long as you don't mix them up (by running video out into left audio in, for example)

s-video cable (ends look like PS2 mouse cable ends) give better quality picture than RCA style

component (red, blue, and green cables) are better still

coaxial is the worse.

pic quality isnt that important, i just want to be able to hook it up. what inputs would i need on my tv tuner to plug in the RCA's?
