I'm moving off to university and I don't think I will be able to bring both my tv and my computer. Therefore I am trying to find a solution so that I can still watch dvd's using my dvd player and playt my gamecube using my computer's monitor. Just wondering where I can find information about the, if it's really worth buying, the best solutions, etc...
 
There are quite a few options out there, but the first place I suggest looking is in the HTPC subforum where there is a whole FAQ and info thing on TV Tuners and anything else HTPC related by CrimandEvil, who helped me out a lot getting my TV tuner/video capture card recently.
